The members of the group are Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams. They have released two movies with a third expected to be released in 2007-08. Their album "Cheetah-licious Christmas" was released in 2005, and made it to No. 5 in the Pop Catalog. After two holiday seasons, as of 2007 the record had sold 300,000 copies. A planned second release is expected for June, 2007, which will not be a soundtrack.

Two songs that are expected to be on the newest album are "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and "Falling For You." Falling For You was performed on the groups' The Party's Just Begun Tour. The release of "So This Is Love" for a Disneymania 5 album may cause the single to be placed on the new Cheetah Girls album. During the Girls "The Party's Just Begun Tour" they were accompanied by Hannah Montana, (Miley Cyrus), Vanessa Hudgens and Everlife. The three ingredients for "Growl Power" during the concert were dreams, love and friendship.

The Cheetah Girls are planning to release their second studio album in the fall of 2007. "We'll be making a real album, not a soundtrack", Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon says. "Some of the music on there will be produced by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas", she says. "It's important for people to see us as a real musical group. We have all this great marketing around us, with the movies and other things. But we are a musical group." The girls have proved this by performing for live audiences, who were only too happy to hunt down Cheetah Girls tickets in the same way they would concert tickets for any other "real" band.

In a Billboard interview, Sabrina Bryan said the girls had been working on writing for the album on their Party's Just Begun tour and that they hope to draw older fans with the material while remaining true to their younger fan base. Bryan also stated that the girls would work with producers they've worked with before, as well as new producers, such as Timbaland. Adrienne Bailon also mentioned that Girls Just Want to Have Fun will be the first single from the album. In a Bop teen magazine interview the girls said that they had already recorded tracks for this album, but they didn't mention which ones. One thing is for sure; people who saw the Girls perform the last time out will be on the lookout for Cheetah Girls tickets this time around, too!
