He also created much of the symbolism that Pink Floyd is known for, such as marching hammers and the Pink Floyd Pigs, many of the concept albums and songs. Seeing moderate success with his solo career, one of the largest concerts ever, 1990's The Wall Concert in Berlin and three studio albums came out of it. Waters has released an opera, Ca Ira, and played his first live performance in 24 years with Pink Floyd at the Live 8 concert that year.
Along with Nick Mason, Richard Wright and David Gilmour, Pink Floyd left its mark on the rock genre. The second set of Waters' current tour covers the Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. Waters' 1992 album, Amused to Death saw critical and chart success. In 1999 the In the Flesh tour began and included both solo and Pink Floyd material. Stretching across the world, the tour spanned over three years, selling out nearly every show. His Dark Side of the Moon Live Tour of 2006 will be repeated in 2007.
Roger Waters Ticket News
After Roger Waters' 2006 American tour, there were whispered reports about Roger continuing his tour in 2007. In time this was confirmed, and fans of Roger and Pink Floyd once again took themselves to the arenas and were dazzled by the brilliance of the light and sound avalanche thrown at them by the maestro.
Roger embarked on a huge world tour in 2007, similar to the one he did in 2002. The target regions were in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, including Australia, New Zealand and South America as well as India and China. Obviously, Europe and the United States are included. Rogers 2007 tour band was the same group of performers who traveled with him during 2006: Andy Fairweather Low on Guitar; Snowy White on Lead Guitar; Dave Kilminster on Lead Guitar and Vocals; Jon Carin on Keyboards and vocals; Harry Waters on Hammond Organ; Graham Broad on Drums; Ian Ritchie playing Saxophone, and Katie Kissoon, PP Arnold and Carol Kenyon providing Background Vocals.
Roger Waters tickets are almost like a mythic codex, a secret and strange artifact that allows the individual access into a Druid's sanctum, where ancient goblets brim with the viscous elixirs of prehistoric shamen. The shows themselves are loaded with significance and fluidity, like a swirling animal which leaves trials and streams after itself as it flails and spins, slavering, quivering, and howling at that big silver orb in the sky. The visuals are at least as effective as the sounds, and anyone who's ever been lucky enough to have a ticket to Roger Waters knows they are in for a treat the likes of which they have never seen before. This artist is a giant among giants, and must be seen to be believed.
