Celtic Woman is a musical group of six female artists, six Irish and one from New Zealand.

With three albums released to date, the first self-titled, the second a Christmas Celebration and the third A New Journey, the group has taken to touring the world and sharing their traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs with audiences across the world. The popularity of such music outside of Ireland and Europe was first created by Enya, and stage shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
Sometimes called "Riverdance for the Voice," Celtic Woman debuted in 2004. Their debut album reached No. 1 on Billboard's World Music chart within a week of its release. It broke a record by remaining in that spot for 68 weeks, and stayed there for a total of 81 weeks overall. Their second release pushed their first into the No. 2 spot. Producer David Downes has worked as Musical Director of Riverdance and as an orchestrator and arranger for groups like Charlotte Church, Bonnie Tyler and Secret Garden.
